Immersive restaurant for the City of the Future in Smart City

In the latest edition of Smart City Expo World Congress, in Barcelona, the Generalitat de Catalunya wanted to show what the city of the future would look like. He did so by including innovations in key sectors in his stand. In a 5×5 space, DigaliX built an immersive and multisensory restaurant.
Our interactive table, Table, was the platform for a complete gastronomic experience. A software with menu and order system, plus other content related to the surround projection, videos that appealed to the senses. Everything to explain the history and creation of each dish, and the values of that restaurant of the future.
Another objective of the proposal was to draw attention to how these types of solutions give the possibility of establishing contact with other people without traveling. It has the double advantage of saving time and reducing at the same time the ecological footprint caused by CO2 emissions
SCEWC is a meeting that has been held since 2011 to meet the challenges of achieving sustainable and inclusive cities. And the role of technology to achieve this goal is fundamental.
